We are told that last year St Bernard’s SVP raised 79% of the Diocesan contribution in aid of the Children of South Sudan and 33% of all Diocesan funds donated in aid of the needy.
Why a huge thank you?
Because without the help and support of you our fellow parishioners at St Bernard’s and Our Lady and St Peters it would not have been possible. The award is in reality a recognition of each and every one in the two Parish Communities who have supported us over so many years.
In the past 12 years because of your generosity, over 500 children have been saved from starvation and hopefully will survive to help their country! Importantly we all had a lot of fun achieving it !!!
