ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT –  “Exposition takes place every Friday morning at Our Lady & St Peter’s between 09:00-12:00pm.  Come let us adore Him.”

REFRESHMENTS –  Everybody is cordially invited for refreshments after Sunday Mass at both St. Bernard’s and Our Lady & St Peter’s churches.

WILLS & BEQUESTS –  The Parish has benefited greatly in the past from the thoughtfulness of parishioners who have nominated the parish to receive funds from their estate.  Please consider it.

GIFT AID OFFERINGS/DONATIONS –  can be taken out at anytime throughout the year.  It is a valuable source of additional income or the parish with no extra cost to the parishioner

2ND COLLECTION TODAY  –  The Apostleship of the Sea.  Can be gift-aided using the charity’s own envelopes.

Lingfield SVP – 20p Feeds a baby for a day  –  Summer Lunch to be held today Sunday 14th of July at 13.00 at St Bernard’s Hall. This is a ticketed lunch costing £10 per adult or £25 for a family of four, soft drinks will be provided but feel free to bring your own alcohol. Again, it is in aid of the SVP baby feeding programme in Sudan.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS, MR JOE TUKE  – The Requiem Mass for Joe will be celebrated on Wednesday, 24th July, at St Bernard’s Church at 12:00 noon.  Internment at Mount Noddy afterwards will be a private family affair and this will be followed by a reception at The Felbridge Hotel to which everybody is cordially invited. May he Rest in Peace.

Our Lady & St Peter’s – Refurbishment  Project — Temporary Access Through Side Gate

Our contractor may occasionally erect signs directing parishioners and visitors to access the Church via the single gate.  This arrangement will mainly apply during the week, for weekday Masses and will enable the contractor to use the double gates for his deliveries. Now that the Project is underway please take care accessing the Church and observe signs erected by our contractor.

CRAWLEY OPEN HOUSE  – thanks from the staff for all your donations of bedding – at present they have enough stock BUT they are desperately short of tinned and packet food, tea, coffee etc.  Please up your donations for this amazing charity which is helping homeless people 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.  Bring items to Church or drop off at COH in Three Bridges.  Another way of supporting COH is to become part of the Be 1 in a 1000 scheme –see website for details www.crawleyopenhouse.co.uk
