ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT – “Exposition takes place every Friday morning at Our Lady & St Peter’s between 09:00-12:00pm. Come let us adore Him.”
REFRESHMENTS – Everybody is cordially invited for refreshments after Sunday Mass at both St. Bernard’s and Our Lady & St Peter’s churches.
WILLS & BEQUESTS – The Parish has benefited greatly in the past from the thoughtfulness of parishioners who have nominated the parish to receive funds from their estate. Please consider it.
GIFT AID OFFERINGS/DONATIONS – can be taken out at anytime throughout the year. It is a valuable source of additional income or the parish with no extra cost to the parishioners
TODAY – No Children’s Liturgy as it is a second Sunday. First Holy Communion children receive their medals.

Our Lady & St Peter’s – Refurbishment Project — Temporary Access Through Side Gate
Our contractor may occasionally erect signs directing parishioners and visitors to access the Church via the single gate. This arrangement will mainly apply during the week, for weekday Masses and will enable the contractor to use the double gates for his deliveries. Now that the Project is underway please take care accessing the Church and observe signs erected by our contractor.
PARISH 100 CLUB – Congratulations to winners in the May draw: 1st, £50, Mrs M Lord; 2nd, £25, Mrs T Fitzpatrick; 3rd, £15, Mrs A Spencer.
LOURDES BOXES – Thank You for £846 collected to date in support of our pilgrims. Boxes for counting are still welcome.
MISSION TODAY MAGAZINE – Complimentary copies of the Summer edition are available from the church table.

Climate Change Rally – Wednesday 26 June – CAFOD are inviting parishoners to come along to this important event in London. The march to Parliament will be from 1pm-4pm (Trafalgar Square to Parliament). FAMILY QUIZ FOR THE CHURCH REFURBISHMENT PROJECT – To raise money to help towards the refurbishment of Our Lady & St Peter, the East Grinstead Catenians are organising a Family Quiz 8th June at St. Peter’s School, Crossways Avenue, at 7 for 7.30. Cost £10 per head to include a fish and chip supper. Cash bar available. Teams of up to 6. Tickets are available after masses, by calling John Donohue on 01342 326552 or by contacting [email protected]. If you can’t make it but would like to support the church refurbishment, donations of raffle prizes will be gratefully received.
Cake & Plant Sale at OLSP – 8/9 June (Pentecost) Advance notice of sale organized by the Gospel of Life Group – with all proceeds going to Cavendish House, supported accommodation – Lingfield. As ever, we are most grateful for donations of cakes and plants for sale from parishioners. Justice and Peace Group – please note the date for this year’s Sleep Out will be overnight on Saturday 29 June. Money raised will go to Crawley Open House, Turning Tides and The Easter Team. If anyone would like to Sleep Out or help with the street collection on the morning of the 29th please contact Sue Joy. 01342 835190. Sponsorship sign up forms will be available at the beginning of June.
EG Foodbank – needs Long Life 1 litre fruit juice, Pasta 500g bags, tinned pasta (hoops), jars of pasta sauce, tinned fruit, jars of jam, tinned custard and washing powder/liquid – smallpacks.
CRAWLEY OPEN HOUSE – welcomes sleeping bags, blankets, and flasks to give to homeless people who turn up at the door when the Centre is full. In addition tinned and packet food is welcome as well as coffee, tea and sugar. Please leave donated items at the back of church at OLSP and St. Bernard’s. Larger items, including duvets and clothes also be donated at both churches, or taken directly to COH at Three Bridges. Tel: 01293 447702.
