ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT – “Exposition takes place every Friday morning at Our Lady & St Peter’s between 09:00-1:00pm. Come let us adore Him.”

REFRESHMENTS – Everybody is cordially invited for refreshments after Sunday Mass at both St Bernard’s and Our Lady & St Peter’s churches.

WILLS & BEQUESTS – The Parish has benefited greatly in the past from the thoughtfulness of parishioners who have nominated the parish to receive funds from their estate. Please consider it.

GIFT AID OFFERINGS/DONATIONS – can be taken out at anytime throughout the year. It is a valuable source of additional income for the parish with no extra cost to the parishioners.

THE OUTSIDE CHRISTMAS CRIB AT OL&StP – We will be very grateful if 3 or 4 gentleman could give a hand after 10:30 Mass today with lowering the crib scene above the main doors. Just meet at the church entrance. Thank You.

MANY THANKS – to all who used the Christmas Greetings newsletter. Every year the total raised increases, and this year we were able to send £280 to Crawley Open House. Thank you again for your generosity.

J&P GROUP – meets next at 7.30pm at Moat UR Church on Tuesday 12 January. All welcome – come and hear about our work.

CHRISTIAN MEDITATION GROUP – meets each Thursday from 4.30-5.30 pm in the Parish Centre. For more information and if you would like to join us, please contact Gabrielle Joyce 326118.

ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT – As explained, Adoration could not take place last Friday, 8th, but it will begin again next Friday, 15th, between 9:00am and 1:00pm. Do visit at any time then to spend minutes or an hour with the Blessed Sacrament. Come Let us Adore Him.

WEEK OF PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY – 18-25 January. Ecumenical prayers will be held at 12.30pm on Wednesday 20 January at Trinity Methodist Church. Come and join in. Many Christians across the town pray and work together daily at Prayer Groups, the Foodbank, the Justice and Peace Group, the Street Pastors etc. We are stronger in Unity.

OUR LADY & ST PETERS LUNCH CLUB – will meet on Wednesday 20th January for lunch at 12.15pm. Please ring Ivy (323240) Jean (311295) or your driver if you are not able to come.

RICH MAN POOR MAN LUNCH – a fundraiser for our young people going to Lourdes as Redshirts this Summer will be held at St Peter’s School at 12.30pm on Sunday 13. March. Make a note of the date in your diary and support this lovely Parish event. Tickets available from mid February.

LOURDES DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE – the 2016 Arundel & Brighton Pilgrimage will be held from 29 July to 4 August and leaflets will be available soon for anyone interested in going as pilgrims, assisted pilgrims or as helpers. Further details from Sue Joy EG 835190 or www.ablourdes.org

EG FOODBANK URGENTLY NEEDS – larger-sized nappies, sizes 5 – 6, tinned sponge puddings, jars of pasta sauce, 4-packs of toilet rolls, tins of rice pudding and 500g bags of white granulated sugar. If people are able to drop-off items at the Jubilee Community Centre between 9am and 7pm asap that would be appreciated, if not put in the box at the back of church. CRAWLEY OPEN HOUSE – is desperately short of blankets, sleeping bags and flasks to give to homeless people who turn up at the door when it is full. Toilet rolls, UHT milk, sugar and tinned meat are particularly required at present but any tinned and packet food is welcome plus tea and coffee. Please leave donated items at the back of the church at Our Lady and St Peter’s and at St Bernard’s. Larger items, including duvets and clothes to be taken to OLSP, or taken directly to COH near Three Bridges in Crawley. Tel: 01293 447702. Alternatively, if you prefer, please leave a cash contribution in the basket and the SVP will purchase items on your behalf. Thank you.

GATWICK DETAINEES WELFARE GROUP – needs men’s shoes, trainers, jeans and sweatshirts jogging trousers (medium and large sizes please) as well as toiletries.
