ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT – “Exposition takes place every Friday morning at Our Lady & St Peter’s between 09:00-1:00pm. Come let us adore Him.”

REFRESHMENTS – Everybody is cordially invited for refreshments after Sunday Mass at both St Bernard’s and Our Lady & St Peter’s churches.

WILLS & BEQUESTS – The Parish has benefited greatly in the past from the thoughtfulness of parishioners who have nominated the parish to receive funds from their estate. Please consider it.

GIFT AID OFFERINGS/DONATIONS – can be taken out at anytime throughout the year. It is a valuable source of additional income for the parish with no extra cost to the parishioners.

PARISH SPRING LUNCH  –  Another great parish social gathering – thoroughly enjoyable.  Thanks to all who came and made it such a grand luncheon party – another one to remember – and special thanks to the ladies on the Lunches Team who once again fed us all so very well.

EMERGENCY 2ND COLLECTION NEXT WEEK  –  Pope Francis has asked all the Catholic Churches in Europe to take a Second Collection on this day for the people of the Ukraine.

YOUNG EPILEPSY  –  Thank you to everyone who helped raise £85.55p on April 3rd.  The money came from donations, cake sales and guess how many sweets in the jar.  Thank you.  Olivia.

VERA ADAMS RIP  –  Vera’s Requiem Mass will be at 12 noon on Wednesday 4th of May, followed by cremation.  RIP.

GIFT AID ENVELOPES  – If you give your offertory by standing order you will not now receive an annual  box of envelopes.  However, you can still Gift Aid your donation at qualifying, special collections by using a yellow Diocesan envelope available from the church table.  Just enclose the offering, complete your details on the front (writing also the collection’s purpose) and place it in the collection basket. DIOCESAN HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER – 2 DAYS PER WEEK (0.4 fte) – HOVE

EAST GRINSTEAD and WORTH ABBEY CHRISTIAN  MEDITATION GROUPS – would you like to know more about this contemplative form of prayer? Please call us for more information, or come to one of our meetings.

In East Grinstead, we meet in the Parish Centre/Church Hall of Our Lady and St Peter’s Church, each Monday 7.30 pm – 8.30 pm.  At Worth Abbey, meetings are held in the Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament in the Abbey Church on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, from 8.00pm- 8.45pm, followed by Compline at 9 pm, for those who wish to stay.

OUR LADY & ST PETERS LUNCH CLUB   –  will meet  on Wednesday 20th April for our Easter Celebration lunch.  Fr Steven will say an Anointing Mass at 11.30 with lunch to follow.   Please ring Ivy (323240) Jean (311295) or your driver if you are not able to come.

ENCOUNTER CRAWLEY – EVENING WITH BISHOP RICHARD FOR 15-30s – The next ENCOUNTER evening is on Friday April 22nd, and Bishop Richard will be the guest speaker.  We are hoping it will be a powerful evening, and one which gives Bishop Richard a chance to meet with some of the young adults from the area.

A concert in aid of East Grinstead  Street  Pastors  –  to be held on Saturday 23rd April at Trinity Methodist Church, Lingfield Road, East Grinstead – starting at 7pm  – refreshments will be served – arranged by Marion Small – there will be a collection during the evening.

EG FOODBANK URGENTLY REQUIRES  –  the following goods Long life fruit juice packs, Jars of pasta sauce, Tinned sponge puddings, 500g bags of granulated sugar, J-cloths, Small packets of Male & Female razors, Small Ladies & Men’s Deodorants, Shaving foam / gel, Shampoo, Tinned rice pudding, Tins of carrots, sweetcorn & peas, Tins of ready made custard, Small packets of washing power / washing  up liquid, Small packets of cereal eg Weetabix, and female hygiene products.  Thank you.

CRAWLEY OPEN HOUSE – is desperately short of blankets, sleeping bags and flasks to give to homeless people who turn up at the door when it is full. Toilet rolls, UHT milk, sugar and tinned meat are particularly required at present but any tinned and packet food is welcome plus tea and coffee.  Please leave donated items at the back of the church at Our Lady and St Peter’s and at St Bernard’s.  Larger items, including duvets and clothes to be taken to OLSP, or taken directly to COH near Three Bridges in Crawley. GATWICK DETAINEES WELFARE GROUP – needs men’s shoes, trainers, jeans and sweatshirts jogging trousers (medium and large sizes please) as well as toiletries.
