VERA ADAMS RIP – Vera’s Requiem Mass will be at 12 noon on Wednesday 4th of May, followed by cremation. RIP.

However, you can still Gift Aid your donation at qualifying, special collections by using a yellow Diocesan envelope available from the church table. EAST GRINSTEAD and WORTH ABBEY CHRISTIAN MEDITATION GROUPS – would you like to know more about this contemplative form of prayer? Please call us for more information, or come to one of our meetings.
In East Grinstead, we meet in the Parish Centre/Church Hall of Our Lady and St Peter’s Church, each Monday 7.30 pm – 8.30 pm. At Worth Abbey, meetings are held in the Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament in the Abbey Church on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, from 8.00pm- 8.45pm, followed by Compline at 9 pm, for those who wish to stay.

CRAWLEY OPEN HOUSE – is desperately short of blankets, sleeping bags and flasks to give to homeless people who turn up at the door when it is full. Toilet rolls, UHT milk, sugar and tinned meat are particularly required at present but any tinned and packet food is welcome plus tea and coffee. Please leave donated items at the back of the church at Our Lady and St Peter’s and at St Bernard’s. Larger items, including duvets and clothes to be taken to OLSP, or taken directly to COH near Three Bridges in Crawley. Tel: 01293 447702.
