ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT –  “Exposition takes place every Friday morning at Our Lady & St Peter’s between 09:00-1:00pm.  Come let us adore Him.”

REFRESHMENTS –  Everybody is cordially invited for refreshments after Sunday Mass at both St. Bernard’s and Our Lady & St Peter’s churches.

WILLS & BEQUESTS –  The Parish has benefited greatly in the past from the thoughtfulness of parishioners who have nominated the parish to receive funds from their estate.  Pleas e consider it.

GIFT AID OFFERINGS/DONATIONS –  can be taken out at anytime throughout the year.  It is a valuable source of additional income for the parish with no extra cost to the parishioners.

Catholic Women’s League  –  are holding their usual annual National Coffee Morning today Sunday 30th April after Mass in the parish centre.  Cakes, plants, books and brick-a-brac will be on sale to raise money for our charities at Christmas. Your support would be appreciated. Thank you.

CHRISTIAN  MEDITATION GROUPS –  in East Grinstead we meet each Thursday from 7.30-8.30 pm, in the Parish Centre/Church Hall at Our Lady and St Peter.  At Worth Abbey we meet each 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month, from 7.45-8.45 pm, in the Chapel of The Blessed Sacrament, in the Abbey Church. LONDON MOON WALK  –  Mary Thomas  and her daughter Karla from St. Bernard’s and Teresa Ruttley from OLSP are participating in the London Moon Walk on 13th May 2017.  It’s the length of a full marathon (26.2 miles) and takes place at night.  They are raising money for Breast Cancer.  Mary and Teresa both work together at the Queen Victoria Hospital as Twilight Nurses and have known each other for many years.  Having worked with cancer patients both felt supporting this Charity was a great cause and it is a one off event.  If you would like to sponsor us please either see us after mass or use our online links.  Thank you.

CAKE & PLANT SALE  – The Gospel of Life Group’s sale takes place after Mass over the weekend of 3/4 June at OLSP.   Proceeds will be used to pay for additional planting in the end of season garden tidy-up exercise at the LIFE homes in West Sussex.  As a small group we are always very grateful for any donations of cakes, plants or related goods from parishioners.  If you would like to support the event in that way please let me know.  Les Whittaker (315484).

CRAWLEY OPEN HOUSE –  is desperately short of blankets, sleeping bags and flasks to give to homeless people who turn up at the door when it is full.  Toilet rolls, UHT milk, sponge puddings, sugar and tinned meat are particularly required at present but any tinned and packet food is welcome plus tea and coffee.  Please leave donated items at the back of the church at Our Lady and St. Peter’s and at St. Bernard’s.  Larger items, including duvets and clothes to be taken to OLSP, or taken directly to COH near Three Bridges in Crawley.  Tel. 01293 447702.  Alternatively, if you prefer, please leave a cash contribution in the basket and the SVP will purchase items on your behalf.  Thank you.
