ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT – “Exposition takes place every Friday morning at Our Lady & St Peter’s between 09:00-1:00pm.  Come let us adore Him.”

REFRESHMENTS – Everybody is cordially invited for refreshments after Sunday Mass at both St. Bernard’s and Our Lady & St Peter’s churches.

WILLS & BEQUESTS – The Parish has benefited greatly in the past from the thoughtfulness of parishioners who have nominated the parish to receive funds from their estate.  Pleas e consider it.

GIFT AID OFFERINGS/DONATIONS – can be taken out at anytime throughout the year.  It is a valuable source of additional income for the parish with no extra cost to the parishioners.

CHRISTIAN  MEDITATION GROUPS –  in East Grinstead we meet each Thursday from 7.30-8.30 pm, in the Parish Centre/Church Hall at Our Lady and St Peter.  At Worth Abbey we meet each 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month, from 7.45-8.45 pm, in the Chapel of The Blessed Sacrament, in the Abbey Church. IONDON MOON WALK –  Mary Thomas  and her daughter Karla from St. Bernard’s and Teresa Ruttley from OLSP are participating in the London Moon Walk on 13th May 2017.  It’s the length of a full marathon (26.2 miles) and takes place at night.  They are raising money for Breast Cancer.  Mary and Teresa both work together at the Queen Victoria Hospital as Twilight Nurses and have known each other for many years.  Having worked with cancer patients both felt supporting this Charity was a great cause and it is a one off event.  If you would like to sponsor us please either see us after mass or use our online links.  Thank you.

GOSPEL CHOIR CONCERT  –  by Emmanue’-EL Apostolic Gospel Academy (EAGA), finalists in Gareth Malone’s and BBC’s choirs competitions in 2016, at Trinity Methodist Church, Lingfield Road, Saturday 20 May 2017, at 7.30 pm. Tickets £10 (under 16s £5) from Mabel on 07801 853815.

FATIMA BIKE RIDE – I will be undertaking a sponsored 1500 mile bike ride from the memorial to unborn children, EG, to Fatima, setting off on 6th June. The aim is to help spread the Fatima Message, and raise money for the World Apostolate of Fatima and pro-life causes.  For further details please see flyer on notice board or web page www.worldfatimaenglandwales.org.uk/fundraising.html . CRAWLEY OPEN HOUSE –  is desperately short of blankets, sleeping bags and flasks to give to homeless people who turn up at the door when it is full.  Toilet rolls, UHT milk, sponge puddings, sugar and tinned meat are particularly required at present but any tinned and packet food is welcome plus tea and coffee.  Please leave donated items at the back of the church at Our Lady and St. Peter’s and at St. Bernard’s.  Larger items, including duvets and clothes to be taken to OLSP, or taken directly to COH near Three Bridges in Crawley.  Tel: 01293 447702.  Alternatively, if you prefer, please leave a cash contribution in the basket and the SVP will purchase items on your behalf.  Thank you.
