ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT –  “Exposition takes place every Friday morning at Our Lady & St Peter’s between 09:00-12:00pm.  Come let us adore Him.”

REFRESHMENTS –  Everybody is cordially invited for refreshments after Sunday Mass at both St. Bernard’s and Our Lady & St Peter’s churches.

WILLS & BEQUESTS –  The Parish has benefited greatly in the past from the thoughtfulness of parishioners who have nominated the parish to receive funds from their estate.  Please consider it.

GIFT AID OFFERINGS/DONATIONS –  can be taken out at anytime throughout the year.  It is a valuable source of additional income or the parish with no extra cost to the parishioners

THANK YOU  –  to all who gave of their time to read, welcome, decorate the church etc. for Easter.

REFRESHMENTS AFTER MASS –  Just this Sunday at OL&StP there will be no refreshments after Mass. We wish allour patrons a Happy Easter and will be back next week.

PARISH 100 CLUB  –  Congratulations to winners in the March draw: 1st, £50, no 37, Miss Hamerton; 2nd, £25, no 104, Mr Colombini; 3rd, £15, no 111, Mrs O’Neill. We currently have four memberships available, just speak to Chris Pond (327002).

Justice and Peace Group – meet at 7.30pm on Tuesday 3 April in Moat UR Church.  All welcome.  Please note the annual Sleep Out and Street Collection is on Saturday 30 June.

PARISH MAGAZINE – We hope to have an issue of the Parish Magazine by early summer, provided we have enough material. Please think whether you have something to share with parishioners: updates and news from our parish organizations, societies, clubs, the school, etc., or anything related to the Church, the Diocese, or our parish, charities, pilgrimages, charity work at home or abroad, as well as poetry and historical articles, etc., are all very welcome. Submissions can be left at the back of the church, addressed to Klara King, or, ideally, emailed to me at: [email protected]

Volunteers required for painting and decorating – Crawley Refugee Welcome Group (of which EG is a part), needs help with a house that has become available for a Syrian Refugee Family being settled in Crawley under the UN Resettlement programme. Anyone who has some spare time for this please contact Sue Joy. EG 835190. Thank you.

Lourdes Live – Deep within  – an evening with singers and musicians from Arundel and Brighton Lourdes Pilgrimage. Sunday 8 April 7pm for 7.30pm at Worth Abbey.  Tickets: £10 from [email protected]

ENCOUNTER Evening (for 15-30s), Friday April 20th, 7.30pm – ENCOUNTER evenings are a chance for young Catholics (15-30) to get together, make some friends, have some fun, and get some great teaching. The next on in Crawley is Friday April 20th at 7.30pm at St Wilfrid’s School (RH118PG). Father Simon from Crawley is the guest speaker this time round! For more information, search ‘ENCOUNTER Crawley’ on Facebook. If you haven’t been before, don’t worry! Our welcome team will look out for you and make you feel at home.

CHRISTIAN MEDITATION groups – In East Grinstead we meet each Thursday. We are now meeting earlier, from 5.00-6.00pm during the darker months, in a member’s home. Do contact Gabrielle if you would like to join us. At Worth Abbey we meet every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month, from 7.45-8.45 pm, in the Chapel of The Blessed Sacrament, in the Abbey Church. For those who wish to stay, Compline starts at 9.00 pm in the Abbey Church. Visitors and new members are always welcome at both venues. DAY FOR YOUTH LEADERS AND CATECHISTS – INSPIRE 2018  –  On Saturday May 12th, there will be a day for youth leaders, Confirmation catechists and young adult ministers, as well as anybody who is interested. The day will be delivered ‘TED Style’ with six great speakers each giving a short 20-minute talk. We’re delighted to have Will Desmond from Sion/ theASCENT, Father Nick Crowe from the Dominicans, Lizzie Wakeling, Toby Harman, and others. A fantastic line-up! Bishop Richard will also be with us for the first part of the day. It’s all happening at St Joseph’s Church, Redhill on Saturday May 12th from 10am to 3.30pm. The Great Adventure is running at Worth Abbey  –  from the 18-20th May for all those in year 7-9. Over the weekend we are going to be exploring the idea that the journey of discipleship is a great adventure that we are each called to through workshops, input, prayer, worship and a whole lot of fun! EG Foodbank –  items required re washing up liquid, washing powder, fruit juice 1 litre long-life, men’s deodorant, razors (disposable), shaving foam and toothbrushes.

CRAWLEY OPEN HOUSE – welcomes sleeping bags, blankets, and flasks to give to homeless people who turn up at the Door when the Centre is full.  In addition tinned and packet food is welcome as well as coffee, tea and sugar. Please leave donated items at the back of church at OLSP and St. Bernard’s.  Larger items, including duvets and clothes also be donated at both churches, or taken directly to COH at Three Bridges.  Tel: 01293 447702.
