REFRESHMENTS –  Everybody is cordially invited for refreshments after Sunday Mass at both St. Bernard’s and Our Lady & St Peter’s churches.

WILLS & BEQUESTS –  The Parish has benefited greatly in the past from the thoughtfulness of parishioners who have nominated the parish to receive funds from their estate.  Please consider it.

LINGFIELD & DORMANSLAND GOOD FRIDAY WALK OF WITNESS  –  This year’s Walk of Witness begins (at 11am) at Dormansland Baptist Church, proceeding to St. John’s Dormansland, then to St. Bernard’s and finishing at St. Peter & St Paul’s – where it will be followed as usual by a light and frugal lunch.

EASTER VIGIL  –  8pm Saturday evening.

EASTER COLLECTION  –  as traditional for the clergy.  Thank you for all your kindness over the years.

BLESSING OF EASTER BASKETS OF FOOD (POLISH)  –  on Holy Saturday 10am at OLSP.

EASTER REMEMBRANCE BOOK  –  The Easter Remembrance Book is open at the back of St. Bernard’s for you to include the names of your deceased loved ones.  The book and names will be placed before the Altar at the Masses during the Easter Season and those included will be prayed for during Mass.

ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT NEXT FRIDAY –  30th MARCH As it will be Good Friday, there will be no Adoration nor Holy Rosary at OL&StP on this day. Both will be as normal again in the following weeks.

PARISH MAGAZINE – We hope to have an issue of the Parish Magazine by early summer, provided we have enough material. Please think whether you have something to share with parishioners: updates and news from our parish organizations, societies, clubs, the school, etc., or anything related to the Church, the Diocese, or our parish, charities, pilgrimages, charity work at home or abroad, as well as poetry and historical articles, etc., are all very welcome.

EASTER RETREAT FOR 18-35s AT WORTH ABBEY  –  Worth Abbey and The Wellspring Community invite young adults (ages 18-35) to celebrate the Easter Triduum (29th March-1st April) with a retreat at Worth Abbey. Over the Easter Triduum young adults from across the UK will be gathering to celebrate the Death and Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ. The retreat will be centred around participation in the Triduum liturgy from Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday, with a programme of talks by the monks, discussion, prayer & reflection and fellowship. Leading up to the retreat, you are welcome to be part of a ‘Cross Walk’- a group of young adults and monks who will walk to Worth from Arundel, across the beautiful South Downs, carrying the cross. We will begin the walk on Palm Sunday (25th March) and arrive at Worth on Maundy Thursday (29th March). Booking forms are now available. Please contact [email protected] [email protected]. ENCOUNTER Evening (for 15-30s), Friday April 20th, 7.30pm

ENCOUNTER evenings are a chance for young Catholics (15-30) to get together, make some friends, have some fun, and get some great teaching. The next on in Crawley is Friday April 20th at 7.30pm at St Wilfrid’s School (RH118PG). Father Simon from Crawley is the guest speaker this time round! amY FOR YOUTH LEADERS AND CATECHISTS – INSPIRE 2018  –  On Saturday May 12th, there will be a day for youth leaders, Confirmation catechists and young adult ministers, as well as anybody who is interested. The day will be delivered ‘TED Style’ with six great speakers each giving a short 20-minute talk. We’re delighted to have Will Desmond from Sion/ theASCENT, Father Nick Crowe from the Dominicans, Lizzie Wakeling, Toby Harman, and others. A fantastic line-up! Bishop Richard will also be with us for the first part of the day. It’s all happening at St Joseph’s Church, Redhill on Saturday May 12th from 10am to 3.30pm. The Great Adventure is running at Worth Abbey  –  from the 18-20th May for all those in year 7-9. Over the weekend we are going to be exploring the idea that the journey of discipleship is a great adventure that we are each called to through workshops, input, prayer, worship and a whole lot of fun!
