aid to church in need

Dear Father Steven

Thank you very much for very obvious support that you give to Aid to the Church in Need and thanks also to the people of Our Lady & St Peter’s and of St Bernard’s for their support and generosity.

The sales from the various goods that were on offer raised £83.09 and the donations reached the wonderful total of £1589 (more than your cheques because of several envelopes left on my stall plus change from purchases being donated).  This means a benefit to Aid to the Church in Need of over £1672 plus whatever we can reclaim from HMRC, thanks to your support and to the generous hearts of your people.  Please convey our thanks to all the faithful of the parish and assure them that they will be in the prayers of those who they have helped.

Advent Tree – please take a label from the Advent Tree and bring the item along for Crawley Open House for the big Christmas donations push.  Thank you.

RECENT SECOND COLLECTIONS  –  Thank you for your generosity in recent collections: Retired Priests Fund, £809…Haiti Disaster Appeal, £1104…Arundel Cathedral Maintenance Fund, £392…Flowers at Christmas and Beyond, £456…Aid to the Church in Need, £1570.
