REFRESHMENTS – Everybody is cordially invited for refreshments after Sunday Mass at both St. Bernard’s and Our Lady & St Peter’s churches.

WILLS & BEQUESTS – The Parish has benefited greatly in the past from the thoughtfulness of parishioners who have nominated the parish to receive funds from their estate.  Pleas e consider it.

PARISH SUMMER LUNCH  –  Another great and thoroughly enjoyable parish social gathering.  Thanks to all who came and made it such a grand luncheon party – and special thanks to the members of the Lunches Team who fed us all so very well.

MISSIO RED BOXES  – Would Red Box holders please bring their box to church for the mid-year count. Please bring it to the sacristy or hand it to Chris or Margaret, don’t leave it anywhere else. If your box is usually counted at home this will happen as usual.  As advised earlier, if you are a new box holder following the recent appeal and would prefer to hold over until the next count in November, that will be quite alright. If any queries, just contact Margaret or Chris (327002). Thank you.

ADORATION ON FRIDAY MORNINGS – Please note that, effective Friday, 16th June, and during the Summer  period, Adoration will operate between 09-00 and 12:00 midday instead of concluding at 1:00 o’clock. This is to allow for foreseen absences of “core” attendees. We have to ensure that there is always attendance in front of the Blessed Sacrament and we really do need some more support from parishioners who are able to commit their presence for a set period each Friday morning. This can be flexible, just speak to Seana, Margaret or Chris c/o 327002.

CHRISTIAN MEDITATION GROUP  – in East Grinstead we meet each Thursday from 7.30-8.30 pm, in the Parish Centre/Church Hall at Our Lady and St Peter. At Worth Abbey we meet each 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month, from 7.45-8.45 pm, in the Chapel of The Blessed Sacrament, in the Abbey Church.  For those who wish to stay, Compline starts at 9.00 pm in the Abbey Church. Visitors and new members are always welcome at both venues.  If you would like any more information, please contact Gabrielle Joyce, on 01342 326118.
